Virtually every city, county or state economic development office uses taglines like “Open for Business”, and the city of New Orleans needed to differentiate itself to properly promote its assets. Known for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, and other great parties, the city needed to differentiate its business message for today’s business world. The team led by Morgan Stewart rebranded the organization and beautifully redesigned its website to show off the city’s unique culture and qualities like 10 universities and colleges, a nation-leading port, America’s newest airport, railroad hubs, as well as a 24-hour highway trip to 50% of the nation’s population. The new brand, logo, tagline, and website enjoyed unparalleled earned media and awards from national organizations and the International Economic Development Council. In the end, we not only laser-focused on the organization’s work and goals but redesigned a beautiful website to address the questions and needs of business leaders who want to invest in a community.
